Hello everyone i have a question.

Do you think its okay to make an interview schedule while Manila is in lockdown? or make an appointment after? lockdown was extended until May 31st. I dont want to keep rescheduling because u can only make it twice, i hope by july or august they accept interviews.

You can schedule your interview in their website, i still need my cenomar (new issue) and nbi (renew). I hope the May 31st lockdown will be the final one so we can move on.

Before the quarantine you could get an appointment for the Manila embassy within a few days. There will probably be a rush once the embassy opens, but the wait time you will have then will probably be no worse than trying to guess the opening date now, even if they let you.

I think at one time it was a two-prong fork with having to pay the MRV fee again but also, endure a 90-day waiting before scheduling was available to the beneficiary. Has this changed? Friends want to know. :D

The next problem I have is trying to pay the 265 from the us.  My fiance lives in a locked down province without a bank account.

There are many ways to wire the money too her. Just do a google search and you will have many choices. at one time I was using Zoom but there are others. Compare the different services as some charge a lot more than others.

You can't schedule an interview at the US Embassy at the moment.  I've been checking every few days.  This is message as of this morning for a K1 interview.
