Hi everyone, I just want to know if any of you experienced this situation. I received a yellow courtesy letter today for not submitting I693 for I485 before biometrics appointment. I have no biometrics scheduled yet, no letter yet but just wondering why I received this courtesy letter first?

I know we're all waiting for miracles but don't get your hopes high. You can't compare how USCIS works at the moment like they did six months ago.

The only good sign I can see here is that they've adjusted and are going through your files and already get things done that woukd usually happens later in the process. It's just a different order than it was before because no in person stuff is happening. Biometrics will still happen, interviews will still happen and we should better be prepared for a long waiting time.

The i-693 is for the medical, not biometrics. A courtesy letter for the i-693 is very common.
