Long story short, I applied to remove conditions on my 2 year GC. See my timeline below. It has been almost 1 month since the NOA was mailed. I still haven't received it. I called USCIS, they told me to wait for the one month mark before requesting my 18month extension letter to be mailed out again. That date is tomorrow. Weird thing is, I just checked my case status online and it says that my fingerprints were taken. I never even got an appointment for biometrics!? WHAT IS GOING ON?

Did you change address since the date that you filed? Due to corona virus, so they will use your previous biometrics. That's normal

Per the NOA mail, mine took over two months. I arrived on its own. I think they sometimes update without actually mailing out the physical NOA. In my case, I was asked to email lockboxsupport, I did and got the usual wait 30 days run around. If your mailing address is correct, I would suggest you sign up for informed delivery with the USPS if that is available in your area..

No we didn't. Oh ok, I thought for a second they had confused our case with someone else's. Thanks

The only thing I see is people saying you need to get an info pass appointment, which I cant do right now. Other than that, a SS card with valid ID such as DL (my DL expires on the same day GC does and cant renew without letter). Catch 22. Not really sure what I can do.

I would suggest you can and speak with a tier 2 officer and see if you can get a head way.... maybe someone there can help you out. Send out email to lockboxsupport@uscis.dhs.gov  and also you can request online for missing NOA.....

Thanks. I did. I have to wait 2 more days to do either of the requests. They require a minimum of 30days before they will resend.

Your GC expires 7/16 correct? Most people receive their extension letter a month prior to expiration.

Your job should not be asking you for your work authorization letter if you presented them with a valid greencard when you got hired.

They don't need it. You can give them your driver's license/state ID and your unrestricted social security card and that should be enough. Unless you need to be a US person in order to do the job. My job requires it and they haven't asked for my extension letter at all.
