Hello,

I will be needing your advices and experiences on this. Any info will be appreciated.

Little background story about me, I am 26 yo Turkish guy who holds a residence permit (3 years) in France, doing his PhD in Molecular Immunology, full time with salary as well as I have my own house in Paris. So back in 9th of March, I had an appointment for my B1/B2 tourist visa to travel to New York for my birthday. During the interview, the counselor asked me what I do, and when I said I am doing research in molecular immunology. And she asked me if I have my CV with me at that time, even she said I know it's kind of weird to ask but is there any chance. Of course, with all that luck (!) I did not have it with me. She gave me white paper to provide additional documents, like all the articles that I published, and my CV. And all of a sudden Covid-19 exploded and I did not hear from them ever due to travel ban and closing the embassy.

So I have checked my status, it said Last case updated 07.05.2020, and looks still refused, and I sent an email asking if it is definitive answer to my application, I'd like to know why I got denied to give me an insight for my future application.

Well, they replied that I will not be needing a another interview, and told me to track this website for how to return my passport to them for visa processing. (The counselor told me if everything is going to be ok, they will ask my passport to issue visa)

The website that they provided is this https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-fr/niv/information/announcements when I clicked on it it gives me announcements and everything but a instructions. I have some questions regarding to this... I think I must have courier-in certificate ( I have checked the forum ) I could not find it. When I try to log in my account that click on "print instruction" I do not see any "print courier-in certificate"

1-) What should I do since they told me to check there but it is not there?

2-) Or should I just simply wait to be everything to goes normal first?

Thank you all for you

I think your problem is likely related to everything being shut down. Nat as if you can travel now anyway. Hopefully the Paris Consulate will open again soon.

I think so too, but I wanted to give a shot.
