K1 Visa schedule appointment

Hello everyone,

 

We got approved and received our RDJ number back in April.  The problem is that my fiancee does not have her passport and will not be able to get it due to the pandemic, the federal police are not issuing passports at this time.  I just wanted to know if anyone else is going through this situation.  Also, Is the DS-160 necessary to schedule an interview.

You need to go to ceac to fill a DS-160 and you need a passport to do so. You have to wait for every agencies to open again.

05/05/2015: Oath letter was sent

What do you mean "get it"? Is it at her home? She doesn't have passport? Is it that it is expired?

Received Dec 18, 2015 USPS notification of successful delivery

Check Cashed Dec 21, 2015 Check was cashed

It seems there is nothing you can do at this time till the Federal Police assume any business hours. So, all is at a standstill. Till she has a passport you'll not be able to move forward. Good luck and stay engaged.
