My wife and I are trying to get 2019 tax transcripts online, but the irs is not allowing my wife to open an account to recieve our 2019 tax transcripts. Will it be ok to use the 2018 transcripts?  We are really frustrated.

Thanks in advance

Gina

At this point (sent to NCV) 2018 is all that is needed as 2019 date has been extended to June

send in 2018 and be ready to provide 2019 for interview which (at this point ) will be past the June tax deadline ( then 2019 is needed)

don't frustrate yourself over this issue at this point

la mochkila

you still have a long wait for the interview as there are so many on hold (cases already at embassy and cancelled and those already cc at NVC)

allah yekbel

I submitted our US tax return in Feb.. I then tried to collect my transcript in March and was unable to. I sent a small cheque in mid March for the amount we were due to pay. A couple of days after the check cleared, I was able to pull 2019 transcript.

So it seems you can pull the 2019 transcript only if you have filed for 2019 and paid any outstanding taxes.  That is our experience anyway.
