As others have said you can definitely ask for the expedite but approval seems unlikely as it sounds based in your post that your wife will not be providing essential services to the US. As for the emotional help from being’s one’s family member in the US, it’s applicable to all and doesn’t fall under exceptional circumstances imo.

Thanks

I thought about that. But if someone is a nurse in their home country providing covid task, then why would they want to come here for same tasks. It’s strategy decision to stay where you are to provide covid tasks. As we are all in it together

one country can get their cases to zero & others struggle because all nurses & front line workers ran away to their partner.

what if someone enters as a nurse but after enter she stays home. There are loopholes @Duke & Marie

Those “all” nurses and front line workers running away to their partner would be just a small percentage of total nurses and front line workers in a country. I doubt their departure will have any effect on COVID cases in their country.

There are loopholes everywhere. I can only compare that to the others like who come to US on B2 visa but file for AOS in a month, who come to study but leave the school within the first semester and such. But loopholes doesn’t mean visas are approved when conditions aren’t met.

To be with their spouse? Is that not the whole point of a spousal visa?

Pot stores and liquor stores are considered essential where I live. As well as pet supply stores.

Yes.

I read

A couple of things pop up / the case 1st of all was applied for back in January 2019 that is well over 14 months old

it is a CR1 and the person can work as soon as they find a job here (to help support the family in this time of crisis when the the USC is a frontline worker)

the country is Australia and not high fraud

and this embassy obviously is open to interviews (as she had one) / other countries are still closed for interviews so knowing your country may be important

also would be helpful to know if a nurse (example) has the documentation or can pass our certificate tests to work here immediately

I would guess (only a guess) that CR1's will be given the 1st interview spots when all opens up (but the embassies have a long list that have been cancelled for all interviews so who knows how they will schedule K1's that are on hold in embassies

and don't forget all have to go thru a medical before interview and drs will be backed up also (Morocco only has 3 listed and there do well over a hundred interviews a week in normal times)

so,  take all that happens into consideration and do like everyone else who try the expedite or wait with a LOT of patience

you say wife but for those on here that are K1 interviews it would not help to bring them faster as they can  not work till married and go thru the AOS

Please do a timeline profile / knowing your country and when you married and applied helps the VJ community with your questions

The provision to expedite those cases is to bring needed workers into the US. It is not a benefit for relatives of essential workers.

Looking at your post history, you have tried to expedite several times. This would be your third or fourth attempt?

Might be time to accept that your case is not that special, and just be patient like everyone else.

Is it correct these requests could also cause little delays?

I never expedited my case. Just wanted to start discussion as this is a open forum. most of the times, I start topics to help others. My history also shows that I started about unemployment during covid-19. Doesn't mean I am unemployed. Don't assume things!!
