Hi everyone,

When I tried to file out the DS-260 on CEAC website, the web page always broke down and turned into the ERROR page (See attached picture) in the middle of filling out the DS-260 if I stayed on the web page for a longer time. Due to my personal situation, I changed previous addresses and employments a lot, so when I am filling out the previous address and employment parts on DS-260, I spent longer time to write my previous information in details. However, the website always shut down and turned into ERROR when I am in the middle of filling out DS-260 (See attached picture). I have attempted over 20 times since Sunday, and it keeps stopping me from filling out my complete previous history. I am now very helpless, and I do not know how to continue to fill out the DS-260 form.😭😥

I do not know if it is my internet browser's problem (I had tried both Chrome and IE Explorer), or it is because of the CEAC website maintenance. I hope someone can share your experience of the CEAC website or how to fill out the DS 260 if you have lots of previous personal information to be put on .

Thank you so much for all your help.

are you saving your information before you go to the next page? NVC is clear when it says you have to save your information every 20 minutes so you don't loose your previous information (I don't have the link). I was saving every page before going to the next one because I have been advised that DS-260 could be a headache but by doing that I didn't have any issues.

It really is a painful site. Make sure all ad blockers etc are off.  Save after each address. Try edge (ie) or firefox or chrome.

We had a lot to fill for my wife and had the same problem.  It wouldn't let me save after a few addresses because it said I didn't go back far enough to get to age 16.  What I did was fill out the current one, then the previous one but put the From date back far enough to cover to age 16 and the TO to the date of the start of the current address.  Save.  Edit to add the next address, put in the correct from/to dates on that one then change the oldest one to the correct TO date.  Kept doing one at at time and finally got it done.  Pain in the rear but it worked.
