airlines opening time

Hey, any news when are the airlines are back up again? My fiance is stuck in Lebanon and there no airlines from there to u.s right away. Any info would be appreciated

Depends on the airline and the countries. There are so many covid travel bans due to COVID that it is difficult to keep track. To top it all off, some of the restrictions don't make sense. For example, why isn't USA banned from traveling to Turkey, but many other countries are and they have a lot less cases of Covid than USA does. 

Plus, you may be able to travel according to country, but no flights. 

My guess, according to some of the things I've been seeing, is that a lot of stuff will open back up after Ramadan. 

 

My husband and I are stuck in separate countries as well. I feel your pain.

it is just insane for what are rules are being followed. I call the airlines & they tell me the airports are closed & same thing my agent does. BUT I hear some of my friends were able to come back. I am not sure if it because they have a U.S citizen & my fiance has only the visa which we suffered so much until we got it & we are just hoping that it will not expired. 

I hope things will back up to normal & you & your husband can meet again.

Yeah. I don't think anything makes since. Everything in middle East is getting dangerous again cause Trump and Iran keep threatening each other on Iraq soil. 

Yes, I've heard of some people being able to get to USA, but I think it was luck and good timing. 

I do know there are some us citizens stuck overseas. 

So who knows. The world is not right. I keep praying for Allah to help all of us to get back to our spouses, unharmed.

In God's willingness everything will turn to where it should be. I actually got an airplane from Egypt, but they were like for only people who is in Egypt.  every country are taking a higher risk when it comes to the traveling. will see what will happens! keep me updated please and if you know anything, please let me know. i am looking for two airplanes, one from Beirut to Detroit or maybe to Chicago & the other one is from Beirut to Erbil.

For Beirut to Erbil I recommend that you reach out to Iraqi consulate. There are flights but only organized through consulate. I’m flying to Baghdad today from Germany so I know first hand that it’s happening.
