hey guys,

 

So with everything going on im out of work at the moment in my country. We were approved on our I-130 recently and with interviews shut down I'm considering going the I-485 route. Just curious how long it takes for the 131 and 765 to be approved?

Yeah, unfortunately, you cannot enter the US with the intent to adjust status and stay on what is essentially visitor status.

Adjustment of Status is available ONLY to those who are ALREADY inside the US.   Thus, you do not qualify.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Yes, but what you are suggesting in an open forum/social network is considered fraud.  If you were already in the US, then the answers would be different, but no one here in this community can advise you to come to the US as a visitor with the intent to stay and adjust.
