On June 18, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

does that mean my card is coming, or just a letter?

Not sure, but I think you will receive the card, not just a letter. Either way, congratulations! :thumbs:

This was the online status?

The emails are apparently worded differently, and say card production has been ordered.

  • April 2004 met online
  • July 16, 2006 Met in person on her birthday in United Arab Emirates
  • August 4, 2006 sent certified mail I-129F packet Neb SC
  • August 9, 2006 NOA1
  • August 21, 2006 received NOA1 in mail
  • October 4, 5, 7, 13 & 17 2006 Touches! 50 day address change... Yes Judith is beautiful, quit staring at her passport photo and approve us!!! Shaming works! LOL
  • October 13, 2006 NOA2! November 2, 2006 NOA2? Huh? NVC already processed and sent us on to Abu Dhabi Consulate!
  • February 12, 2007 Abu Dhabi Interview SUCCESS!!! February 14 Visa in hand!
  • March 6, 2007 she is here!
  • MARCH 14, 2007 WE ARE MARRIED!!!
  • May 5, 2007 Sent AOS/EAD packet
  • May 11, 2007 NOA1 AOS/EAD
  • June 7, 2007 Biometrics appointment
  • June 8, 2007 first post biometrics touch, June 11, next touch...
  • August 1, 2007 AOS Interview! APPROVED!! EAD APPROVED TOO...

Well, it seems like when one logs into the uscis website, the case status is updated before an emails sent, usually a couple days later an emails sent. I did get an email from them this morning...

Application Type: I765 , APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

That email states nothing about a card being produced...Lets just hope one arrives. Thanks everyone.

Just got an email stating my EAD has been transfered from California to another office for processing, what is going on??? :o I thought all those that were transfered to California didnt require interview's, i didnt bank on getting transfered someplace else, grrrrrrrrrr :lol: just my luck as well, i knew it was too good to be true, had quick approvals for my I-129F and I-130 last year, here was me thinking my run of good luck was going to continue as well sheesh
