Question about k1. My fiance is waiting for her 2nd interview in Ho Chi Minh City. I'm graduating in a couple of days w a bachelor I also have my employment letter from the company that i will be working for. I also let then know about using my mother as a joint sponsor because my tax return this year does not meet the minimum requirements. I sent the consulate both my employment letter stating my salary and my mother the joint sponsor tax return. But they replied back and said that my case does not require a joint sponsor. The blue sheet we got was just a common blue sheet requires the 8 things. Family etc. But i have heard bad things about the us consulate in ho chi minh about joint sponsor

You have two things going for you. You graduated from college and you have an employment letter which I assume shows a salary above the poverty level. IMHO you should not worry. If you would like others from Vietnam sub-forum to reply you should post your questions there, as they are the "boots" on the ground. Here is the links. Good luck and stay engaged.
