Time lapse interview to visa in hand, Manila?

Im thinking in positive terms. If my gal gets an interview and all goes well in Manila how long does it take to get the visa in her hands?

How does everyone else deal with airline ticket purchase in 1 or 2 days notice? Seems like they might be sold out and super expensive. Do I buy a 1 way and wait for her approval or 2 way and pray?

I bought myself a round trip ticket, arriving 2 days before the interview, and then 21 days later (maximum stay without visa waiver) my return ticket, along with my wife's one way with me. If I have to reschedule, its $75 each ticket to change the date.

We are not there yet. I've heard 2-5 days in the Manila area, 5-10 or more in the provinces. That's why I scheduled for the maximum time. The main problem would be if she's put on administrative review, it could be up to six weeks. But you said "think positive", so 1 week would be positive.
