Hi, I filed my i485 package a few weeks after receiving the i-797 for my i-130 and i-130A, today I received a return package from USCIS with three rejection notices(All with different receipt numbers) attached. The first said the reason for rejection is because the forms were outdated(which makes sense because I downloaded them before the public charge form was added). I am assuming I have to re-download i-485, i-765 and i-864 with updated edition dates from the USCIS website.

However, the other two rejection notices just say " The principal application could not be accepted for the reason specified on the related notice of action form(I-797). Therefore the processing of all riding applications cannot continue."  does this mean it is the same reason as the top one?

Something else I found off was that some documents had lines drawn(in ink) on the bottom and at first I assumed these had the wrong edition dates as well but the I-131 and G-1145 dates seem up to date, anybody have any clue on why some documents have pen lines on them? because I don't see any mistake on those two.

Please let me know If i'm allowed to upload a photo of my  rejection notice so I can do that immediately (with sensitive information cropped out obviously)

Thank You!

The EAD  and AP applications are contingent on the AOS processing. Reject the AOS and the AP and EAD are also rejected.
File for all processes again using the current forms. Any submissions for which you used the correct forms can be resubmitted as is , as long as the dates /signatures are current

Thank You! I figured that was the case but you can never be too sure with situations like this. I appreciate your response

Don't forget to also file the I-944. It's a new form that came out in February and is now an essential part of the application. Have a look at the February/ March/ April AOS groups since it's widely discussed there and it seems one need every help they can get to fill that form.

Yes I filed that one as well but it had a line drawn across the bottom. I am assuming it I need an active I-485 for that one to be processed.

Just reprint all the forms and respective proofs , and resubmit with that green letter on top. I was rejected initially due to the outdated 485.

Resubmission went smooth, got NOAs in two weeks.
