I've been reading articles and cant seem to find any solid information on flights into the US from Canada. I thought they were restricted because of the border being closed but the more research I do it seems only land crossing is affected. Is anyone able to confirm that flights will be denied if my fiance wants to come visit for a week? If so can anyone recommend a site to keep an eye on for when flights become available again?

Here's the most in depth information I've been able to find and it seems like travel into the US from Canada is allowed.

I have had to cancel two flights to Canada to see my fiance. If you were already married it looks like you might have a case to enter the US but I would still warn against it as it is going to be subject to the officer you get in customs.

For the K-1 I doubt you'd be able to argue you going to the US is essential unless you lied to customs which if caught lying could end your K-1 process.

I just keep watching the news to see if the border has reopened. Right now it's set to end on 5/20 I believe, but I have a feeling it's going to get extended again.

I last saw my fiance just before Christmas so I know what it's like to be so close yet so far.

The funny thing is when we were talking about when we should see each other again and decided we should try and wait four months this time, we normally see each other every two months, I said but what if something happens and the borders close.

So I guess I jinxed it and everyone can blame me.

Flights do exist, but I believe no Canadian airlines are currently flying to the US. I know for sure Alaska and Delta both are flying, but I don't know what routes they are flying outside of YVR-SEA.

As for the closure, it doesn't apply to air travel but you're a lot more likely to be denied entry now than you would be normally. It's pretty much up to the CBP officer that you get if you'll be allowed entry or not. We should know more about an extension of the closure this week (since it's set to expire Wednesday of next week) but I'd expect the closure to be extended at least one more time, if not more.
