I-751 Filers Transferred to New York, Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island Field Offices

Hi everyone,

 

I am creating this thread for I-751 filers who have been transferred to their local field offices (five boroughs of New York City, Long Island, Rockland and Westchester counties) to be interviewed.  

 

I have included all the details of my I-751 process in my signature and the Visa Journey timeline.  My window for the N-400 application is now open but I have not applied yet.

 

Note that, depending on your zip code, you may be residing at one county and belong at a field office of another county.  Check out the below USCIS link for details on your local field office.

Thanks for making this topic! I was MSC and am now awaiting an interview at the Manhattan Office. My case has been "ready to schedule interview" since April 4, 2019. I recently submitted a request for a case update.

I’m on the same boat, and equally frustrated when see people filed in other service center getting approved, even I saw a lots of September 19 filers getting approved. Really don’t know when this journey will over, but I’m planning on fling n400 by next months

I believe the New York-Queens field office reopened this morning as I am seeing a different message compared to other field offices (i.e. Los Angeles).  I can't be 100% sure though as it is not specified.

 

As per the USCIS website, "USCIS field offices will send notices to applicants and petitioners with previously scheduled appointments and interviews. Those attending appointments should follow the safety guidelines..."

I was so frustrated to see NY field office remain closed to public, though the news didn’t come from an authentic source,

Still the same here.  I believe I saw a post somewhere that a NYC applicant got a phone call to schedule their interview and appear within the next few days at the office.  I can't remember if it was an I-751 or N-400 application.  Nonetheless, you might want keep an eye on incoming calls, as it seems that the field office may be trying to reach applicants over the phone in order to speed up the process.

Are you a nyc filer ? When did you file and which service center processing your case ?

I live in Brooklyn. I sent the F-751 in June 2019. I passed the fingerprints in August 2019

I did not receive any notification to which office I was transferred. the case was processed in Vermont
