Information released in the Justice Department's motion to dismiss the case it brought against Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn confirms the significance of a January 5, 2017, meeting at the Obama White House.  It was at this meeting that Obama gave guidance to key officials who would be tasked with protecting his administration's utilization of secretly funded Clinton campaign research, which alleged Trump was involved in a treasonous plot to collude with Russia, from being discovered or stopped by the incoming administration.

Interesting, a lot of people on one side of the aisle have been saying this for three plus years.  The facts seem to bear out that those folks are only trying to deflect scrutiny on the wrongdoings of their former leaders.

Yep, that's true. Which reminds me to rant about the fact that Sara Carter has been a fantastic investigative journalist who winds up right yet she's notably someone 86'd from the FOX network because they capitulated to leftist caricatures. Thankfully Sean Hannity has a spine to ignore the FOX executive idiocy or else the public would lose a good journalist. Also, it tells you how messed up the American political landscape is when Hannity has become a voice of reason. Hopefully with the tide turning (though nowhere sufficiently until people who abused power against the Trump campaign are indicted/jailed) these people get the air time they've most certainly earned.

John Solomon is in a similar boat.  He is one to include all of his sources uncovered during his investigations, but of course he gets blasted if any of that evidence taints a leftist politician.

That's off limits, as we know. I notice in every thread of those like Greenwald showing evidence of Biden corruption, incompetence, etc., the usual comment, beyond calling him a "Russian asset", is how he's "not being helpful to Democrats" and "helping Trump". Party fanatics are so funny with how they try to psych out people showing even the slightest bit of independence and/or introspection. 

 

Oh, that also goes for people like Bill Maher. Not a journalist, but a needed mention since he's been a topic of discussion lately in politics. For years that guy kept talking about how he hates the parties and is a Libertarian, mainly because he wanted pot legalized. Nonetheless, since Trump, he's come out of the closet completely as a neoliberal Democrat party fanatic. The Trump astringent working its magic.

There are so many people that call themselves Libertarians, yet they are a far cry from that position.  Justin Amash is a great example, but I expect the current Libertarians will virtually embrace him as their person.  Polls are showing he would be more of an issue for old Joe, but who knows.

It's coming front and center in the political discourse, even Twitter is allowing #ObamaGate to trend with nearly a million tweets, which would never happen a year ago. Even more amazing that it trends like this despite so many non lefties banned. The cat's finally out of the bag and no amount of attempting to caricature this as conspiracy and other fruitless manipulation the left keep trying to stuff it back in with is going to work.

 

The only question remains.. is anyone going to prison over this?
