Medical Requirements - ACRO + Fingerprints ??

Hi there,

I am currently in the process of moving from Scotland to the US using the K1 process, whilst my Visa documentation is currently at the NVC (we had our NOA2 30/04/20) I am trying to get all of my documentation together. On the embassy website under the "required docs" tab it says you need to provide your ACRO police report at the medical which is fair enough and easy to obtain. It also goes on to mention that some countries will be required to provide fingerprints and gives a list of UK police stations which provide this service.

My question is how do I know if I need to provide these fingerprints or with my ACRO police certificate be sufficient?

This is the website I took this information from feel free to let me know if there is a better source or this is incorrect;

https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/required-documents/

Thanks in advance,

Ross

One would think the embassy itself would be the best source but here is another

The mention of fingerprints In the London K1 instructions is under police certificates from certain other countries.  (Example, Australia used to require them) A UK police certificate is not from another country if you are British.

ACRO does not require your fingerprints.
