IW-1 Applicants

Hello Guys,

My CR1 was converted to IW-1  at nvc stage. I just submitted my civil docs and waiting to be accepted. Is there anyone the same case as mine? can you share your timeline and your interview at the embassy?

You won't find timelines at this point as US embassies are not currently doing any visa interviews. You should probably look up people's visa interviews reports for the embassy you'll be interviewing at in the future.

Hello.. I mean I was referring to those who got their visa already under IW-1. I know that this case is very few..

There was one recent case I believe in Netherlands where the spouse died and beneficiary was under asylum there but as far as I know she managed to get the visa and go to the US. 

 

Not many cases out there, should be  the same as regular visa interview (except potentially not needing I-864) and you'd just need to bring death certificate in addition to other usual paperwork asked for.

Yes I have read on that as she posted it here in VJ. Actually, I have already submitted my civil docs like (passport copy, picture, birth cert, police clearance(Philippines) and police clearance(Saudi Arabia). These are the docs only the required to me.

 

in the AOS part, they put my name as substitute sponsor. so i just write a letter and uploaded on this part because I-864W was already eliminated by ucsis and no longer in used. I am a bit nervous of whats gonna happen next.
