Any estimate of when USCIS could try to cash the checks I sent? They received the packets on Friday 12th June at 7:30am.

Last time (when we tried to pay via credit card) it took them 6-7 days to try the payment method.

Just want to get some movement to know that we're in line.

Btw, check out this thread https://twitter.com/gsiskind/status/1273694164811747329 by a well-known immigration lawyer. He seems to suggest that ASCs will open on 7/13 and USCIS will start sending out biometrics appointments starting 6/29. (Tweet no. 8 or 9 onwards in the thread)

USCIS cashed our checks today. Does that mean that they have the forms they need and that someone has reviewed them for mistakes?

Of course, anything missing and/or extra they need will be requested via an RFE later. Just wondering if cashing checks means we're officially in the line. Hopefully they start sending biometric appointments in July

Update: We received 4 text messages and case numbers; one each for I-130, I-485, I-765, and I-131 today. (no emails or physical mail yet)

Only one of us received all the texts, the other didn't - even though we filed two separate G-1145 forms with I-130 and I-485 packets different email/text details.

Congratulations you’re in!

Yeah same for us as well.

So glad to see your posts - Our packet was received on June 25th, I've been anxiously checking my credit card daily to see if it was charged (a bit OCD, lol).  Your post gives me some hope as to when I should be able to expect that charge - And based on your previous posts, I notified my credit card to expect it (not Chase, thankfully!).  Crossing my fingers that it goes through!

Update:

Got the yellow letter in mail today (dated 2nd July) asking us to bring signed/sealed I-693 to the I-485 interview. Still no update on biometrics, and with the impending 65%+ USCIS layoffs I don't see the application moving forward any time soon.

Hopefully the Congress manages to fund the $1.2B deficit and save 13,000+ USCIS jobs (and our hopes).

Congrats!  I see that my credit card was charged yesterday, so I'm hoping for the texts in the next day or so.

@MerryMentor any movement on biometrics yet? I'm not sure AOS filers from as far back as Feb/March have received biometric appointments from ASCs yet, looks like we're looking at massive delays in EAD/AP :(

No, nothing yet. I’ve seen some posts where April and March filers have gotten biometric notices. I believe it depends on the number of applications that are under the jurisdiction of your ASC. I guess we have to wait patiently, nothing we can do about it 😔.
