Interesting. My fiancé had his appointment cancelled on July 6th and then he rescheduled on July 30th which was also cancelled after the second email. Maybe they just cancelled July. Nothing showing in appointment site now though

Yep same here, although I went back on the appointment booking system about an hour ago and a date for july 6th and 13th were available to book ! Mega head spin.

I would probably just book an August one if possible.. Otherwise the July ones get cancelled and you'll be stuck with an appointment in September or something.  Though I doubt the August k1 interviews are going to go through anyway.

It feels like the dates opening up is a bit of a fluke.

Maybe those are the cancelled K1s and they are open for IR1/CR1s but there is no specific programming distinguishing visas to keep K1s from picking a new date. I imagine it’s difficult to get all the systems and processes aligned when there’s a new plot everyday.

From reading that email it suggests that they will no longer process K1s as they are part of the Executive Order (which most assumed they weren't, as they are Non Immigrant visas)

Hey, I'm new on this thread kinda worried now....

Does anyone know what happens with the k1 holders? Are we banned too? I'm from Argentina and my visa expires soon 😥

Yeah this is very weird. Got the cancellation email last night saying that they are only processing CR1 visas now and not K1. Went to look at booking schedule last night and it wouldnt let me book, said no appointments available.

Now this morning it is saying there are appointments available and has allowed me to book one.... so weird.  EDIT: Just seen what Wuozopo said.

Good news for me.... not for others, that sucks so much. You think it's to deal with backlog? That's what I'm starting to think, I have no other reason why they would do that.

Hey, is this the first time they've opened up the schedule since they shut down? I know some embassies have done that and then kept cancelling, but I haven't seen anything in London as such.

We got a June 8th appointment in May - Cancelled.  Rescheduled for August 5th, then for the 3rd - Cancelled.  Rescheduled for July 20th - Cancelled. On the same session of the July 20 cancel we saw July 9th open up. We took it. There were only two other dates at the time in July. This was two days ago. Today there are multiple dates in July and August. This has been an absolute rollercoaster that we simply can't get off yet. We keep each other going by reminding each other of the pay off - living a quite life together in the country. It will happen, on whose timeline though we must roll with the punches.  So to answer your question, No this is not the first time they have opened (and closed) dates. Strap in!  Cheers and GL

See attached to my post.

So the email from the embassy says my appointment was cancelled due to the this presidential proclamation:

https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/proclamation-suspending-entry-immigrants-present-risk-u-s-labor-market-economic-recovery-following-covid-19-outbreak/

Which doesnt make any sense as the proclamation was enacted on April 22nd and expired today. So why cancel it 3 days ago?

I’ve been following this thread and a few others and I don’t think that email is stating that the K1 falls under the proclamation, I think it is stating that since the routine visa services are suspended they are ONLY processing those visas listed as they fall under the mission critical or emergency visas. I believe that one routine service begin again they will begin processing K1 visas.

Additionally. My fiancé was able to schedule an interview yesterday for August 7th.
