Hello Everyone,

as you all notice from my timeline i sadly got an RFE. I gave as much evidence as we could have during 2016-2018

- marriage license

- lease agreements

- bank statement

-travel photos

-affidavit letters from friend that has know me and my husband for 11 years

- life insurance

-tax returns with w-2

me and my husband don't have much as we lived with his mother during the first year i came here.

I sent same info but with 2019-2020 and now me and my husband live back with his mom so there is no new lease and with this pandemic the DMV is closed so i cant changed my address on my drivers license till they open again, but i did send all I could again cause they said they have to receive it in the office by 05/07/20 and i sent everything off on May 2nd as when i got the letter it was in the middle of march even though they said they mailed in on feb 10th i did not get it till super late and i did let them know i changed address at usps to send it to my mother in laws home.

as we all know its now may 6th and no update that they recieved my new info for RFE (I sent it on May 2nd and it reached the PO BOX on May 4th)...i am scared that even though it was reached 2 days ago that they still did not recieve it as there is no updates on the USCIS app. so i am unsure what to do.

any suggestions?

No reason to panic.  You sent what you have.......if the tracking number shows it was received, it is where it should be........and keep in mind that ROC denials are EXTREMELY rare........

There won't be any online updates until a case processor actually opens up your documents. In this case, your mail was signed for and now it needs to go to the proper people. Them just receiving the documents at their location isn't enough to have an update done in the system, someone actually needs to go ahead and scan it in, and THEN send it to someone who is going to review it.

Personally, with all of this going on and knowing that they are lightly staffed, I would give it until the middle of next week.

thank you everyone who posted here, i guess i am just bit nervous cause its been 2 years and I guess with everyone going on it makes me over think to much and that my extension letter is expiring next month, so i am unsure what to do on that as well as I don't know where to go to extend the extension.

You didnt need the marriage license.  You sent 1 bank statement? Why not multiples? Did you do AR11s for your address changes? You can sign a lease with your MIL.

Have you thought about medical POA? Wills? Living wills? Beneficiary of benefits? Life insurance? Credit cards? Paystubs showing same address? Bills? Car insurance? Car purchases or leases (or registration in both names?)

Well you already sent it back so nevermind...

i meant to put an "S" after bank statements

and all those things you mentioned i did send in the prev one , and i resend them again but new ones, as for life insurance i thought my husband was on it the whole time but they told me he was only the beneficary so i sent that to them already and our dumb bank put me as an auth user instead of second person on our bank so i had the bank writing a letter saying i am an auth user and have been for many years, i send 3 more affidavits on this new one and all our new tax returns and i did provide them proof of same addresses and i showed car leases and purchases together in the first one but i always put the new ones in the new one i sent out,

i did most of everything you said and as for writing a lease with my MIL we dont pay rent there as we only help out with some of her house bills so i have her make an affidavit stating that was well.
