Hi, I am on work visa working in Us for last 5 year. spouse recently filed for N400. should we wait for her to become citizen to file for my GC or should we file based on current GC. read that date for F2A are current. apart from its stopped for covid .

not sure what category we need to file and should we wait for citizenship or just file right now.

Thank you for help.

I would file now.

What is “stopped for covid”? Interviews are stopped yes but they are processing so no point waiting to file. You can still process AOS for F2A if it is the ban you are thinking about, as that only applies to people seeking visas from outside the US.
