I have been watching few videos on YouTube, where some attorney offices are saying the USCIS is possibly opening it's field offices in June. With some states already on the reopening track, I wonder if some of you have received any letter for biometric scheduling.

I would imagine those who had appointments that were cancelled would be the 1st to get appointments when the field offices are open

and they have to have a long back log so Patients is needed

and i would guess (only guess) that priorty is given to family members of USC / you are under AOS from work or study visa according to former posts

@RegdkpHey, I had biometrics waived. Ot was scheduled for 4/2. Mine is aos from a work Visa to eb green card.

@kris&me just so I understand,  why were you guessing they would prioritize family-based petitions?

Thanks for the update. Mine is family-based. I don't expect them to use my past record of work visas/tourist visa biometric.

I would still expect to get an biometrics appointment for the AOS.
