If it's helpful for anyone, here's what proof we sent:

1. Initial package: notarized and with the Apostille of the Hague. Pictures (no handwritten caption). Facebook snaps showing dtae and place. Hotel bookings, flight itineraries and flight tickets. Tickets from events. Postcard from Japan sent to my fiancee.

2.RFE: chronological document for the two years requirement including pics from google photos (showing date, place, maps... for the picture), booking references, boarding tickets and more. All those events and proofs refer to passport stamps if needed. Pictures include events suchs as my visit to my fiancede and her family, and visit from her mother to Spain to meet me and my family.

Both passports (all pages). Two room keys that show our names and same dates in Orlando. A comprehensive excel print file summarizing all those events and linking them to the provided proof. Also 11 affidavits of support from 13 people (family and friends).

You provided similar to what we provided in terms of the quality of evidence, but we didn't use Facebook/google photos or affidavits. In our case, we had multiple meetings in past two years (each meeting had some evidence), our families also met each other. The only thing I can say we had that wasn't on your list was bank / credit card statements showing the charges and locations of those purchases (food/hotels/activities) - not sure if that made any difference. In addition, I'm not sure if it helps, we included a two page letter summarizing how we met, what we did each time we met, and tag the documents in that story line.

We didn't receive an RFE. From what you provided, I'm not sure why you were issued an RFE based on the two year meeting requirement.

None of that is primary evidence.  Affidavits usually do more harm than good.  How would a postcard provide evidence of the date when two people met???

Primary evidence would be passport stamps and boarding passes.

It seems nothing is good evidence. You submit what they ask for and you get an RFE

Hello all!

As many of us, we recieved a RFE on May 20th (NOA 1 on December 9th, 2019) requesting aditional proof of two year meeting (quite strange of the request based on the large ammount and quality of the info we provided in our package). We submited what should be enough additional evidence last week, and war recieved on May 4th. Looking at VisaJourney timelines, for K1 visa, RFE to NOA2 processing times, had largely increased.

We would like to know, based on your opinion and recent personal cases, what an estimate for NOA2 could be for us?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Did the RFE list items you already provided and what more you could provide? I got the same RFE and I submitted itineraries, hotel reservations, passport stamps, photos, receipts, bank statements

The RFE mentioned some items we provided and explained why they were not sufficient (tickets to events, yes you both Ave one ticket to the very same event at the very same time, both stamped as used, but that does not prove you've met in person) but they didn't mentioned all of them. Again, a notarized with Document with The Hague Apostille stating in front of a Notary where we met, and we want to get married is not  proof intention of marry, not proof we physically met there for that signing...

What Im saying, and based on what you read here, and the example of a close friend getting a very lame K1 package aproved two months earlier...I'd that the officer that goes over your file makes a huge difference!

Just try to go throughly your RFE and provide any single document you think support your case. I'm sure it's good NG to be fine. They also told us a few ideas of what would support our 2 year meeting requirement. From what you tell me (again, I'm not an expert) if you submit that proof well explained and organized, it looks very good
