Lord its been some time since I have been here ...good to see Yodrak made Mod after his long stint answering all manner of questions ...

Anyways ....question .....

I have received notification that my AOS interview is on Sept.6 2007......my current EAD expires the day after ....now we are pretty confident that everything will work out fine but the condrum is whether to reapply for the EAD... I know the FBI checks can hold up the issuing of the green card but if my passport is stamped I will able to continue working ...or have I misread something

Tough call. Consider an application to renew your EA as insurance and answer this question for yourself - how much is the ability to keep working after your EA expires worth to you if you're not a LPR yet?

Thanks Yodrak ......your right on both counts ......its a tough call but in the end I don't want to have to sit on my hands waiting .... I had already half made up my mind to reapply anyways ....it was just a case of seeing if anybody had been in a similar situation ...
