WoM is a tough topic to discuss. We get plenty people inquiring about it but we have very few that move forward with it and those that do, do not return to give us updates. There are many factors such as the cost ( we have heard upwards of $10,000 or more) and the fact that a WoM does not guarantee an approval.

Also, the Covid pandemic is impacting every aspect of immigration so cases of WoM will be effected also. We just don't know how much.

“When starting an immigration journey, the best advice is to understand that sacrifices have to be made... whether it is time, money, or separation; or a combination of all.” - Unlockable

presumably you have a WoM in progress? What is your situation.

I hear you this is all definitely nerve wrecking. I file a WOM with the Hacking law firm and everyone was served out date to hear back with an answer is June 20, 2020. We are being positive!! Given our current pandemic maybe they will show some leniency and be empathetic 🤨😌😁 just thought I’d throw those in 🤦‍♀️ This has been one heck of a journey. My concern is after visa is issued how soon spouse will have to come to NYC currently so many restrictions.

Best of luck to all of us. Please keep us updated and I will do the same!

Hello😊

Thank you for the feedback. I would travel as soon as the visa is issued, due to this weird politics lately.. Spouses of USC and LPRs can travel even now.

If people avoid contact, virus does not have the way to spread. The situation should improve within 6 weeks, if everyone follows the recommendations.

Will definitly update as soon as we have some news😊

Hello Members,

I hope you are all well.

Have you recently filled the Writ of Mandamus for your IR1 ?📃

Have your case moved or its paused due to Covid..?📰

For now it's too soon to tell for my case. Our due date for an answer to our lawsuit is June 20th. So for now it's the waiting game. I was also made aware that they may or may not as for an extension. We just have to be alittle more patient for we have come so far.

Hope you're doing well considering all the added stress during these stressful times? So in terms of my WOM I received a Notice of Intent to Deny on Friday. I scanned and sent over to my attorney and now we have to work on this together to answer the NOID. I have 30 days to respond back. Once again the waiting is so draining and frustrating this journey is been the most difficult to deal with. For God is in control and he will see us all through this!! Any news on your case?

If you don't mind saying on what grounds do they intend to deny?
