I authorized them to send me ssc at home when filling out ds260. That means we don’t need to go to social security office to apply ssn.

After arriving..Did you update SSN office that u have arrived?(or they know it already that u arrived?)

Yes I did, and they still  put the case under administrative processing

They already know. We already received our social security card in the mail without going to the office.
