I got mine out in my 20s. Whatever sedation they give made me not remember a thing, and when they tell you to take Percocet don't ignore the instructions. :P Did end up needing antibiotics though. It was a good decision despite the risks. The big plus was the surgeon was ridiculously hot.

I still have mine. I went for a cleaning once a few years ago and some younger dentist who was covering did the examine and said I should think about getting them extracted before they caused problems. I asked my regular dentist the next visit and he just laughed. He said they don't do prophylactic extractions at my age.

We talked about it for a while and he basically said once they are fully in, they are there and you just treat them like any other tooth. If they have problems, they can be very difficult to work on because of their location and proximity to surrounding structures. He said it's variable though. He has seen adults where they have basically rotted and ready to fall out, and other times it's like major surgery.

He said I was fortunate to have a big mouth, which for once was a good thing to hear. So hopefully just keeping up with good oral hygiene will avoid problems.

Or I could just look at him adoringly and tell him how hot he is, hotter than any surgeon ever.

The one thing I really forgot was how bad traffic was here. We had a huge issue with speeding when there was less traffic. Speed limit is 65mph and lots of people were going ~80. Last week we still had a bunch of people doing 80, but another group doing about 45. It was nuts. I'm sure all those insurance refunds will be going back soon in premium increases.

People drive me batty when they're doing 45 in a 65.  Just stay on the side roads if you're not comfortable!

When my wife came to the US, she had to learn how to drive again, and one of the things I stressed to her is never pass someone on the right when driving on a freeway.  Then of course we encounter someone driving 50 in a 70 zone in the left lane.

They always seem to be in the left lane doing 45 too, even though the signs all indicate state law is use the left for passing.

My other pet peeve is on I-76 where the speed limit is 65, there will be a semi in the right lane doing ~30 trying to get going, and then another semi will move to the left lane to pass doing ~32, and all the vehicles behind them get backed up for miles. Our highways are a microcosm of why social responsibility often fails.

People dont understand merging.  You use the merging lane to get up to speed, not get up to speed once you're on the highway.  I get its harder for semis though.

Ive been driving on both I-25 and I-225 with traffic in the left lane coming to an immediate halt.  WHY?!  Thankfully I have a tiny hatchback and have missed being rear ended at least thrice due to my lack of trunk space.  People get so mad when you pass them too. Like I dont want to do 5 under thanks, and I happen to know I can take corners better than your not-a-minivan.  Granted I sacrifice some ride comfort for that knowledge but thats why you feel outta control and I dont... The body lean is real! Since I've driven a lifted XJ without a sway bar I know that even a little too much speed into a corner can get things exciting too quickly.

I know right. One of my pet peeves is following a car down a .5 mile on ramp doing 40 then it waits to get on 75 to speed up

For that reason in Israel you actually have signs on certain roads, where certain vehicles aren't allowed to pass other vehicles. So for example in this one the semi would not have been allowed to pass the other semi, but other cars could pass them both.

Unless you're a semi, no car should take an onramp at anything under 50.

In VT what I hate is you could have a car or emergency vehicle pulled over way off to the side of the road, like several feet away from the road..."in the bushes". And everyone will slam on their brakes and switch to the left lane(without actually being given the go ahead by the car driving there) for absolutely no reason. Just dumb. The law says "slow down or move over". They take it as "move over as if you're the only one driving".
