I-864 "tax year question" and Covid-19

So were completing the I-864 and question 23a. "Have you filed a tax return for the most recent tax year?" 

I believe that 2019 is the most recent tax year, and due to the Covid-19  I have not filed as the tax accountant is not working and it is not required to be filed until July 15th.  So do I assume that I mark "NO" in that box and complete for 24,a,b,c which are for 2018,2017,2016. 

Do I need to write a statement as to why I haven't yet completed my 2019 tax return? 

My income is well above the threshold for immigration, just the tax return is not done. Should I send recent pay check stubs?

2019 isnt due yet so 2018 is the most recent tax year that is due currently.

thanks NikLR I just was just not certain as 2019 would normally be completed by now and other than accountant/Covid-19  it would be. Since the question said "most current" I kept thinking it 2019 is what was expected.
