RFE - Birth Certificate (Alien Spouse)

Hi everyone,

 

We just got an RFE to mail a copy of my Birth Certificate. I'm the Alien spouse, and I feel like this wasn't requested when we submitted the I-130.

 

Has anyone else received this type of RFE? Should I write somewhere this copy is true? Should I also send a copy of my passport, and IDs (like driver's license)?

I don’t recall it is specifically asked for but I remember initially submitting both of our passport and birth certificate copies in the original package as well as the marriage certificate.

 

You just send a copy, no need to write anything else on it.

It's not normal for the I-130 but can be requested.  Just send what's requested.
