About 4:30 this morning I got a notification from the old app that the interview was scheduled yesterday for my husband. Estimated completion date has been January 2021 pretty much the whole time. We applied May 22 here in Oklahoma City. Not sure the date yet ad we have not checked online nor have we received the letter obviously. We received biometric reuse notice December 17 I think it was (sorry baby has caused sleep deprivation so I can’t remember exactly). Will update when we find out scheduled date

what's the old app? I am using my.uscis.gov and didn't know there is another old one too.

My estimated completion just moved up a month from March 2021 to February 2021. Could my biometrics be getting close?! Nothing on the case status page or myaccount. I know estimated completion is not necesarily accurate but I’m so starved for any kinda update I’ll hang my hat on it lol I need any kind of good news 😅

Well good news was in fact in store! Woke up to a biometrics reuse in my documents tab of myaccount! Hallelujah!!!

Applied online May 6th 2020. JUST went to check my case status - my completion is March of 2021 - still no notice of biometrics.

So, I did my daily web check and got so disappointed when I saw my estimated time go from March 2012 to November 2021.  I went ahead and checked my documents tab and TADA:

"U. S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has received your form and is currently processing your application, petition, or request. This notice informs you that USCIS is able to reuse your previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics. USCIS will run the same security checks and use your biometric data as in the past, however, it is not necessary for you to appear at a USCIS Application Support Center (ASC) for a biometrics appointment. The biometrics fee will not be refunded."

I was almost sure I would have to go in for Bio's as I havent done them since 2008. So, everyone hang on it is moving along.

Ok, so I'm a big dumb-dumb. 

Went online and checked my case, went into the DOCUMENTS section and saw the "Biometrics Reuse Notice" was there. Apparently its been there since Wednesday. 

Oops. Guess I just didn't think to check there. 

 

So, that's SUPER good news!!

Same thing happened to me. When i checked on Tuesday 01/19 the Estimated Completion Date went from Nov2021 to Mar 2021

Today it went back to Nov2021 but I now see the Biometric Reuse notice applied on 01/20

Applied at Texas Service Center, Receipt Date 05/19/20

If it makes anyone feel better...

I applied May 17 2020 online. Phoenix office. I have heard or seen nothing since receiving my "receipt" notice back in May 2020. Nothing new in the myUSCIS site. No biometrics notices at all. Nothing in the "documents" tab in myUSCIS. Nothing.   myUSCIS completion date still says May 2021 (haha!).

I would suggest to call uscis office and ask . Mu spouse and I applied in July and as of yesterday my office is already a citizen . My interview is in 2 weeks. Phoenix office. I also know of few others of our close friends that applied after July and are already scheduled for interviews . Good luck
