N-400 May 2020 filers

Applied in May 25th.

Got a notification of biometric reuse on September 15th.

Got the letter for my Interview two weeks after biometric notification. MY interview is scheduled  November 9th. 

Applied in New Mexico. Competition time was October 2020.5 months 

will see what happens after the interview.....

@AraRang - I have a very similar timeline to yours. I'm from a neighboring state (AZ), and have an interview scheduled for the same week as yours.

 

Since we need to be worried about something, my chief concern now is that a surge in COVID-19 cases would lead to another lockdown like the one which shut down USCIS for over two months in the spring. I seriously hope it won't happen...

It's been one whole week since a service request for biometrics was requested. It is still not assigned to an officer. Guess they are swamped with such service requests.

Can you let me know how we can check whether the service request has been assigned to an officer or not?

If you have an account with the old website it will show you there. I do believe that a case needs to be tracked in the system before the action is listed. If you have all of these, click on the case in question and there will be two columns below the status update: Case History and Next Steps. Next Steps is where the unassigned status updates will appear and once they are assigned they'll move to the other column, Case History. Let us know if you find anything there!

Im relatively new so Im not sure of the old website you mentioned. Can you share the link to this site please?

Could you please let me know how to make a service request? I have applied for naturalization online and made an account  almost six months ago and have not received my biometric appointment, and do not know how to make a service request. Thank you

I applied for my N-400 in April 2020 based on 3 year rule (pending I-751 transferred to local/NBC on June 18th). I received nothing except the receipt notice until now. When I looked at my case status in https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus i am shocked to see case history saying some thing like - ,

Aug 17th we sent a response to your request to have your interview rescheduled, referral number T1B22XXXXXX .

On August 17, 2020, your request to have your interview rescheduled, referral number T1B227xxxxx, was completed.

i never requested for interview rescheduling and in fact i am eagerly waiting to get the interview done(for which i never received the notice nor it mentioned anything about interview in the case) I am very confused, don't know what to do.

You can call the service center and attempt to get through to an agent or use the EMMA chat function on the USCIS website which seems to be a much better option here lately. Once you are connected ask to put in a service request.

Yes i check it every day and nothing came from USCIS, in fact i almost check in my uscis account every day (https://myaccount.uscis.gov/) and nothing mentioned in it either except for case received.  So confusing and wired .
