Filed May 26th from NJ, no biometric appointment letter so far - called USCIS this morning and was told  by the agent that the wait @ Newark is about 1.5 years😵 as they are still processing Jan 2019 cases - which seems odd considering @Scala managed to snag an appointment.

Well, I just got back from work and checking the mail I got a letter from USCIS stating that They are going to reuse my biometrics from 2017, when I applied for GC conditions removal. I filled  on may 28th and the case is being processed in Kansas. It looks like things are moving ! 🙂

Did u call agent to ask about ur application.. Mine is stuck in background check dont kmow if it will be reused or not

But they sent me a letter today saying that they will reuse my biometrics. I think now I just have to wait. 
Did they send you a letter saying that they will reuse your biometrics? If so, I am pretty sure they will reuse your biometrics. If they did not send you that letter, I guess all you have to do is wait.

No they didnt i called and asked and the agent just stated that they have requested biometric.. But im just confused will they reuse it or have me go for new biometric

You just have to wait for the letter

Just checking in - Filed May 6th and still waiting for ANY update. 

Application has been received, $ taken and nothing. Kinda sucks seeing as I'm in a state that never really shut down at the height of Covid.

Been over 4 months. As it stands right now, I'm to be processed by March of 2021.

I'm on hold right now to try and talk to someone and see what the heck is going on. 

I have to drive across the state to the federal building and I'd like to be able to do that before a midwest winter hits.
