I can confirm the same..estimated case completion time has gone up by a month from February to March 2021 for me as well. This is probably a nation-wide bump up.

Pretty ironic considering the USCIS Twitter post today indicated all naturalization ceremonies delayed due to Covid-19 have been completed.

My estimated completion time hasn't changed yet, it's been the same since I filed. Will be interesting to see if it goes from 7 months to 6 months on August 1st (like it normally would), or if it increases instead, like for you guys.

Naturalization: 05-01-2020 - 03-16-2021

My estimated case completion has just increased by a month. June 2021 instead of May, things are moving backwards instead of forward.

What do you guys see on your estimated wait time exactly? I applied May 9th. I don't remember what the wait time was when I first applied, but as of now it says 5 months. Does it update as time passes to reflect wait time from now, or time from when I first applied?

It tells you which month and year your case is estimates to be completed, meaning it should say "February 2021" or "December 2020" etc. My date hasn't changed even once. The "5 months" that you see is counting down though. If yours says 5 months now it should change to 4 months when a new month begins. However, as you can see, others have reported that the estimated time has recently increased instead of decreased.

Yeah, now I see that it says at the top March 2021, but 5 months at the bottom. I'm guessing 5 months was the timeline I would have followed had there been no pandemic issues, but March 2021 is my new delayed timeline.

Less people filling But wait times increase. Maybe as many as 60% reduction in case load and this bunch of bureaucratic idiots are only increasing timelines. I’m starting to think this whole agency is a scam and wait times are inflated artificially. They got caught fudging their numbers too. Screaming about deficits in the budget and turned out they ended up with a surplus and having to delay a planned furlough God only knows what all that smoke and mirrors was about. I know the brighter college grads end up in private industry and the weaker or less bright types end up doing careers as civil servants but this organisation appears to be run by a bunch of Incompetent clowns.
