I think they are trying to phase out the old website as for N-400 applicants they have given IOE numbers, but I dont see any movement for now even for biometrics, they should honestly just reuse the biometrics from our ROC (they did this for my friend who applied for I-751), I filed on May 8th 2020. Hopefully they give us some notification on next steps if possible, but its sad as most of them are going to be furloughed. :(

I really hope they do not phase out the old website any time soon; that's the only one that has been updating for my wife's case.

How does your friend know they reused his biometrics ?? I applied my N-400 in April, since then nothing.

Good day all, my case is different. I got divorced with my US citizen wife January 2016 owing to her abusiveness on me, and thereafter via my attorney I filed for Removal of condition on my expired 2 year green card. I have been stuck 5 years now waiting in vain for my 10 years green card. I filed March 2016 for change of condition of Residence and till date never gotten my 10 years. Can I file for my Citizenship without me getting 10 years green card? Each time I ask USCIS they tell me they are still doing background checks. They have told me this same thing 5 years now. Am thinking of going ahead to file for my Citizenship which I think would likely make them open up my case. I think 5 years is way long over due. Any input on this guys? Tnx.

I didn't make the cut to receive automatic citizenship status under my mother's application due to ageing out. Plus my application for PR was not moving for years.

I think the one thing that forced USCIS to open my application was when I moved from the east coast to the west coast. According to a family friend who worked for USCIS offices at that time, the move required all my paperwork to be transferred to a completely different office which made my papers visible.

Sorry about what you went through with your ex spouse. That is really sad to hear. Also, I know moving is expensive and not always an option for people, but just thought I'd share my experience. I've been that person who was stuck with a pending status. You're not alone.

I sent in my husband's N400 by mail. Will we receive a printed Notice of Action informing us that it was received?

Thanks!

Hi Andrea,

I see that you have filed n-400 by papers and I'd like to ask a question.

I filed my n-400 by papers as well, and I've received the notice instructing me to create an online account in order to monitor my case.

I wonder if your case number also starts with "IOE...."? and if you could see All your paper documents have been scanned and uploaded in your online account?

It's confusing for me, as I filed it by papers, now I can see only PART of my paper application in my online account under the section "documents". I wonder if this is the case for you as well.

Thank you so much!!!

Hi again!

So I checked my husband's application online. The case number does begin with "IOE." As far as I can tell, the only documents that they upload are additional documents that you provided as supporting evidence. I can't confirm that with certainty, but that what it looks like to me. I hope this is helpful. Wishing you the best on your application!

Hi!

Thank you for confirming that! does "The supporting document" you mentioned include the marriage certificates, permanent resident card copies?

Or just something else you submitted as additional evidence?

PS: I am awaiting USCIS reply as well, I will update everyone when I receive their reply.

Thank you!

Thank you!

Since my husband did not apply on the basis of being married for 3 years to a US citizen, we did not have to submit such evidence. I just saw our tax transcripts.

Looking forward to your update!

It gets updated every month based on the cases processed last month. I think they update between 15th -20th every month.

This might be a dumb question, but how do I know where my case is being processed? I live in Mississippi and the closes offices are in Memphis or New Orleans.
