I don't know if anyone remembers me, but as I mentioned before: I requested A-file back in Nov 2021. It got stuck in step 2 for more than 2 months. Today it finally moved to step 4.

Still no information on interview scheduling yet. How long did everyone wait to get an interview notice, after A file request moved to step 3? 1-2weeks?

I got my interview scheduled while FOIA in Stage 2 and it still in Stage 2 for almost a month now. Not sure if this is helpful.

My interview was scheduled 3 days after FOIA moved to step 3. It is still in step 3 today, 3 weeks later. Hope you get yours soon.

Lazybuny. What’s the estimate date for completion for your FOIA? Mine

filed on 12/10 says 2/3 as completion . Since you have filed in November it should have crossed the estimated completion date ? Or are they moving the completion dates ?

Thanks for feedback ! May I know when you entered US? I kindoff of believe people who have early entry are likely still waiting for interview even after filing FOIA? Someone in forum brought this up.

I entered 2004 . Still waiting after almost 50 days of FOIA. Let me know please . Hope you get interview soon as well !

I came in 2001. Became green card holder in 2009. Filed FOIA 12/12. Got my interview 2 weeks after it moved to step3. It's still there.

Have you tried to contact them?   Either via email or call?    The receipt letter states 20 days and permitted 10 extra days if needed.

Also::  "Under the statute, federal agencies are required to respond to a FOIA request within twenty working days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays. This period does not begin until the request is actually received by the component that maintains the records sought."
