The reduction in applications since 2017 is most likely due to the racist agenda of the current administration. It's probably too early to know the exact impact of the pandemic on immigration.

Did anybody receive biometrics appointment in this group? 

I filed may 9 for N400 from Chicago, and it was showing me estimated time  November 2020... but still no biometrics appointment.

Not here either.

Filed online 05/19/20, estimated case completion time shows as Nov 2020, and with a message saying, "Estimated wait time: We are taking longer than expected to process your case. You do not need to do anything at this time".

Hello All - fellow May filer here ... I mentioned this on the main threads - made a call this past Monday to USCIS and the agent mentioned that the ASCs are likely to re-open on Monday, June 22nd for biometric applicants. He also said that fingerprints are not hindering the processing of the applications as it still happens in the back-end.

I haven't seen any spreadsheet mentioned so far - I thinks its mainly because so far not a single person has received any case update (finger print appointment etc). So everyone's just filing and waiting on USCIS to ping someone back. At this point it'll be great if at least one person reports any progress :D

01/2016: Petition filed for my visa
02/2016: USCIS confirmed receiving our file/petition on 1st Feb.
04/2016: I-130 Approval email received from DHS towards early May, our case was approved end of April. 
03/2017: Paid AoS and IV Bill
03/2017: Sent AoS and IV Packages via mail.
04/2017: 5th day of April, NVC received package. Can take up to 11 weeks for CC according to nvc.

06/2017: 6th day of June, Case Completed - confirmed via phone

07/2017: Interviewed end of July 2017.

>> Passport with Visa received the next day of interview 

8/2017: POE via JFK


05/2020: N400 Filed

06/2021: Biometrics taken

02/2022: Interview Scheduled (Yes, after 22 months -.- )

Well, yeah, that's obvious since the biometrics offices were closed when we filed and they're still closed.

As far as I can tell all the immigration measures apply to all races equally

I haven't had any updates either. Although, I'm not surprised considering that Portland hasn't even entered the 1st Phase of reopening yet so I have no clue if our filed office opened on June 4th or not. I'm not in a rush anyways since I already have my 10-years GC, and if it takes longer than expected, so be it.

December 22, 2020 Biometric reuse notice was issued

February 4, 2021 Received an update online that the interview is scheduled for March 16th

February 8, 2021 A hard copy of the interview letter was received

March 16, 2021 The interview was completed successfully

I feel the same way, I'm not in any rush whatsoever. I actually want it to take a little longer because I'm so not prepared for the tests. I need time! 😂 At least my greencard is valid for 10 years, so while waiting for citizenship I still have my proof of status if needed.
