Hi
well this has been a real journey my application has been rejected 2 times.  First was in February when I sent the wrong payment.  Then I resent in April but outdated forms so I resent on April 29th and USCIS received it May 1.

I kept reading blogs and everyone was getting responses in short times so I was fully looking for mine to be returned again.  But on May 21 the check was cashed and today May 26 at 1:34am I got 2 NOAs.  These were for I485 and I765 my son had already successfully filed the i130 online which is still in process.

hope this timeline helps someone one as I know how nerve racking this is.

Very good, you might want to fill in your time line as it helps others give you the better answers should you need help.

We're sending the AOS package today!! But only concern is I-765 form expires 5/31/2020 🙄 You guys think it's gonna be a problem? I checked USCIS website this morning again and this form is still there.

Check the edition date too. The site will tell you what forms they will accept.

I just checked the edition date and it's the same with the form that I have. So nothing to concerned about. Thanks for the answer

Hi everyone! We sent out my AOS  package to Chicago 05/19 by USPS after rejection notice. USCIS received 05/21. Waiting for NOA-1. I have a question. In form I-944 i wrote down my degrees, copied and sent that without translation cause that was English parts on each diploma. Now i read forum and see that people add evaluation  reports. I connected with one of agencies and it takes 3-4 month to send documents to ,y country to get transcripts (i have old versions of diploma) do apostle in Ukraine and do evaluation here. Is it essential? Did you add evaluation reports?

I didn't send evaluation reports because my college degree has English parts for each section like yours. And I just translated my high school diploma myself. Plus I sent English transcripts which I got from my college. Since there are English parts on your degree too, I don't think it's gonna be a problem or cause a RFE. I hope we won't have a problem about it. 🙏

We sent in an evaluation for high school from Canada. I work in HR and know that education will need to go through an evaluation service for work purposes so it made sense (to me) to get it done. It was $100 and took less than a month.

Also, my husband wants to pursue his degree here so I thought universities might need his HS evaluated.

We are still gathering documents for our AOS package (really hope we can get it out this month) but we do not have an evaluation report with ours.   My spouse degrees and transcripts are in english.

I hope you can also get your packet in soon. The way things are going in the government it won't be long before other changes are put into effect. I understand you have to wait for the correct documentation, but try to file ASAP!

Yes! They are talking about charging a 10% refundable surcharge on fees, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a fee increase at some point!
