I don't think I am . There is no update , it was a false alarm I think !

Oh, but I’m sure they will do something. I called USCIS I requested for an expedite. After 5 days they told me they received my case. Then I called again in the system it shows my request but no action since then.

I read somewhere someone requested for a biometric expedite appointment. I did the same the officer told me it will take up to 30 days for them to answer. I’m just waiting desperately.

Hello guys,

I am a silent reader of this page. I read from June filers that someone expedited his EAD and was approved.

I immediately expedited my EAD on 11/11/2020 and on 11/13/2020 they sent email requesting evidence of financial loss which I used my job offer, medical bills, credit debts that just occurred last months and fax to them on L000 Div... Tm...

Today 11/18/2020 I received email that my case was approved and that I should check my online status for update. When I checked it says Expedite request approved.

Now I am waiting for the card to come I cannot not wait to have it to start working.

I prayed a lot too very important!

Next is to have interview I485 marriage based.

Hello everyone!

To those who already had their EAD approved and/or received, how long did it take after biometrics were taken??

I got biometrics done in the Orlando ASC on October 13th and the anticipation has been driving me crazy, specially since it took 5 months for it to be scheduled.

My PD is May 4th and I already filled a service request with USCIS.

Thank you in advance and I hope we can all hear some good news soon!

Same boat here... it has been over 20 days after my biometrics, but I have heard nothing since then. I even submitted expedite request but it seems that no one is working on it.. so frustrating 😞

My Expedite request got denied saying I don't have BIO. Which is whole point of doing the request . I get the same copy pated response from any where I go. Two Congressmen gave me this before and now my expedite request was given the same thing

Unbelievable! They are so slow. Yes, that’s exactly what they told me for my request. So I made an expedite request for my biometrics appointment.

How did you do that ? . As I was told that there is no such thing as Expedite Request for BIO. They can only give us the BIO if they have empty slots !

Thanks. Yeah, I actually called one more time and almost immediately got scheduled to a Tier 2.

Also, even getting to speak to a representative is funky these days. Sometimes I even get hung up by the automated system.

If anyone has figured out a way to speak to a rep with the new auto system, do let me know please!!

I called them multiple times. The last time I called I started to explain to the agent how I’m not happy about my timeline. She checked and told me I already made an expedite request and there’s no point to make another one. However she can make an expedite request for biometrics and I should wait 30 days.

I read somewhere here on VJ someone was also able to do the same. So try to call them again ask to make an expedite request for your biometrics. Some people believe you can’t do a biometrics walk-in at ASC but I did. The only reason my action wasn’t successful is because in my record I don’t have any appointments even if it was one from the past that could have work the manager explained to me. I believe this whole process is all about luck.

I called 5 times this morning and was hung up on by the automated system each time no matter which phrases I used that worked before. I eventually used the Live Chat feature and was able to speak to a rep (after having my place bumped from 19 in line to 20...then 21...so weird!). She told me that they recently updated the system (of course they did). When I asked her how to speak to a live rep, she said that staff had "not been provided with the options" in the system so she had no idea (bureaucracy at its best!) . It's been 30 days since our last service enquiry trying to get a biometrics appointment (PD 5/27/20). Rep said my last request had "not been assigned" so she put in another service request. This is a really bad joke! No accountability. Not sure the service request really means anything since nobody has to get back to you. The great abyss just keeps growing larger! Very frustrating. Be nice to get work authorization and SSN to start working. This is dragging out beyond my wildest imagination. Jeez. If anybody finds they can speak with a live rep, please post the words you used to connect. Saying you want to speak to an agent doesn't work!
