I would suggest you call and ask to speak with a tier 2 officer I applied May 1st and had not heard anything and so I kept calling I was told the same thing you were about the 90 days and only to be told today hat I missed my biometrics which was on august 25th.  So my advice again call ask for a higher level representative

I had the exact same problem 6 weeks ago. Luckily, like yourself, I managed to reschedule another appointment for a few weeks later.

Wow, that's crazy. Hope everything goes well for your biometrics. I wonder how can you connect with a tier 2 officer? Did you just call customer service and request to connect with a tier 2 officer?

Yes, my Biometrics was September 1st, I received my combo card yesterday. My I-485 case status is still "Case Ready to be Scheduled For an Interview".

Yes I called and requested a status update and then requested to speak with and officer.  When I spoke with that officer I requested to speak with a tier 2 officer.  they transferred me and then there I set it up to get a call back and when I got the call back that’s when I was informed I missed my appointment

I've called USCIS countless times and keep getting told the "90 day" story.

I've also asked to speak to a "tier 2 officer" - btw: I'm not sure if I'm using the right terminology or not - but the person on the other end of the line is always saying they can handle my query.  (and the way the handle it is by giving me the 90 days story!  LOL)

 

How did you get past this "gatekeeper"?  Is there something specific that I should ask or say?

Just keep insisting you need a higher level person to deal with it.  I got that many times too until see they made me miss my appointment

Did the person who informed you about your missed appointment , setup new one for you on the spot and gave you the new date?  .I feel like I am in same shoes , its been 75 days from the reopening of ASC , i keep calling and hear the 90 day callback story .

If the tier 2 officers are taking calls they have to transfer you if you request it. If you dont insist then they stop you at the gate. The regular  call center agents can't  tell you much more than you yourself don't  already know.

Yes, but at first he was telling me that I would get a new date within 2 to 3 weeks and if I didn’t get one I should call back.  And someone will set it up for me on the phone so I asked him so if that can be done why can’t he just set it up now.  He said that it takes 5 mins for the system to register the cancellation of the old date and he can’t wait.  Anyway I asked him to just please check again and it so happened or so he says that it was cancelled so he was able to set the new date for me.

Hi all,

Our 131 changed to “case was approved” this morning. We did not file 765. Does anyone know how long before I get the AP in the mail?

 

We have a trip planned and need to figure out if we have to postpone.
