I am an Aug filler. An update for my and my wife’s cases. They were received from USCIS on Aug 18th. Receipt notice was mailed 1st of Sep.

Interesting is that I-131 and I-765 status is case was received. But for I-485 status is “fingerprint fee was received”.

Does anyone know if that means that they plan to send me a mail with biometrics appointment? Weird is that this is only updated to my I-485 case and not at the other two (I-131 and I-765).

Service center is: NBC

I was denied for SSN cause applied for that after wedding and my visa got expired after 3 month. You can apply but they will probably denied. Also, in your form I-765 you probably mentioned that you want to receive SSN.  You can’t work without EAD even if you have SSN. Maybe it make sense for you to apply for expedite EAD

Wow, thank you. I think I will apply for expedite EAD.

Hello guys. I hope everyone is doing well! Since yesterday my case shows :  we are ready to schedule your Form I-485 interview.

Do you guys know how long it could be before they actually schedule an interview?

Hello! I have a question. It’s been more than 2 month that USCIS received my response for RFE and I didn’t hear anything yet since then. I try to do something, take English classes from college, but so waiting that I can move on. I called call center they said that I can call them if my local center will not schedule me biometric interview for 90 days since July 9. So, I will wait couple weeks more, but is someone called call center about not scheduling biometric for more than 90 days...Is anyone’s here case is in Missouri office?

Applied: June 2

RFE: June 30

USCIS received response: July 9

Missouri office

The eGov tracker website was updated two days after our RFIE response was delivered to show that we had responded to the RFIE (birth certificate). We also got a I-693 deficiency notice soon after that. If you didn't get those, I would start to worry if the RFE response was actually delivered in your case. Can they confirm that thy got the response?

  1. 2020-06-03 I-485 delivered to Chicago
  2. 2020-07-07 RFIE notice sent
  3. 2020-07-20 RFIE response delivered to MSC (based on USPS tracking)
  4. 2020-07-22 RFIE response received notice on eGov
  5. 2020-07-28 I-693 deficiency notice received
  6. 2020-09-13 (Waiting for Indianapolis biometrics appointment to be scheduled)

Since our's was a RFIE, the processing time resets to the response delivery date, so I'm thinking that we have a while to wait for biometrics. There's not much we can do until the service date for the I-765 or I-131 passes.

My case is in Missouri too. I filed Early May and my NOA's are May 15th 2020. Nothing yet, though I've called USCIS couple times the same answer as yours(90 days). My ASC is in a different state and they re-opened on 27th July,so just waiting while distracting myself with things like going for driver's learner's permit so I get more exposures and so on!I have my permit appointments next week(learner's permit)Just do something else if possible and things will turn around soon, hopefully!!

Hi, I'm a mexican TN visa holder, my visa expires on November 18, 2020. Currently I have a AoS pending, still waiting for biometrics appointment in Los Angeles (ASC reopened on July 27). I'm a bit worried that I would not be able to get my EAD on time to continue working and my question is, would it be possible to file an I-129 to extend my TN (I know it would be denied because of my AoS) but this will extend my work authorization while the I-129 is processing giving me more time to get my EAD. Has anybody try this? Would you recommend to do this? TIA

My understanding is that you cannot extend your TN. Applying for AOS automatically disqualifies your ability to apply for TN/extension (the basis of a TN visa is that you are in the country TEMPORARILY). How about trying expedite your EAD with your job offer?

Oath ceremony completed (Detroit): 06/17/24

N-400 Interview completed 05/29/2024 (Detroit): N-400 approved; I-751 approved; received notice that Oath Ceremony scheduled for 06/17/2024 (Detroit)

NOA updated online 04/18/24 for N-400: Interview scheduled for 05/29/24

NOA received 03/04/24 confirming N-400 application and reuse of biometrics

Biometrics being reused for N-400: Notification online 02/28/024

N-400 Application Accepted: 02/15/2024; Notified by text 02/20/2024

I-751 Amendment Request of Jointly Filed I-751 to Waiver: Delivered 09/09/2023 with hard copy of docs; wasn't able to upload docs till 01/30/2024 due to glitch in their system

Notice Green Card Extended for 48 months: 03/11/2023

I-751 Petition To Remove Conditions on Residence (Jointly Filed)Application Accepted: 03/06/2023; Biometrics being reused

Conditional Green Card: granted 05/14/2021

Yup, I'd second this approach. Expedites for EAD seem to have been pretty successful if people have a job offer in hand.
