yes it just says "ready to schedule interview" and that they will be scheduling the interview and sending a letter. In the email notification it also says this could take some time so you may be right. I was surprised to get a notification so quickly.

That's basically the "last" step before you do the interview itself. Depending on the ASC you can sit in that status for a few months to over a year (!). Then you do your interview, hopefully get approved, and then receive your Green Card.

We received e-mails today for K-1 and K-2 that we are being scheduled for the adjustment of status interview already. We just did the biometrics on August 3. I'll keep checking the mail for the letter. I checked case status and it has updated. It says they are ready to schedule the interview. I wonder how long it takes to schedule the interview, or does that mean the letter is on its way very soon. We are in California, Orange County. Do the interviews take place at the Application Support Centers? I hope so, its only 5 minutes from our home here.

AOS interviews are usually done at your local field office not the ASC.

Ready to Schedule is different than Interview was Scheduled.

The first one just means NBC told your local field office that your paperwork is okay and they can schedule an interview WHEN a spot is available.

When you actually get scheduled, your status will change to Interview was Scheduled.

I got my biometrics appointment in the mail!! FINALLY! USCIS is no help at all. I called on Friday because I was out of town for the whole week and they said I was in line to get it done but I wasn't scheduled yet. Came home yesterday night and the letter was there. My appointment is tomorrow. Anyone knows how long until I get my EAP/AP approval? I am so happy, thank God!

That’s great news! Where is your ASC? Does your process get update at “my usics”?

Hi I got a pink slip today requesting I-693.  Said I wasn’t to mail it but bring it with me if I received an interview date.  Anyone else got this.

Is it a RFE or a courtesy letter?

Most cases do go to the NBC (National Benefits Center) in Missouri thus the code MSC your EAD and AP will be adjudicated there. Your I-485 interview will be conducted at your local field office usually it's close to where you live, but you will have to look it up where your local field office is.

When you submitted your AOS did you not include the form DS-3025 (medical form)?

I submitted it on June 19th. I did not submit my medical (I-693) with it. Yesterday I got an update that I was sent iRFE. So trying to figure out what it can be before the mail comes in. Hope it’s an easy fix

I'm asking about the form DS-3025 not the I-693. Usually when they send you a letter about the I-693 it means you did not send in a DS-3025 or you did not take all the required shots during your medical. The DS-3025 is the medical report/exam that was given to you after your medical in your country before you got your K1 visa. If you submitted your AOS within a year and you received all your required shots you would not need a I-693. Be advised that ONLY a civil surgeon can fill out the I-693 and it has to be sealed when taken with you to the AOS interview.

Ahh I see now you are a different visa class not a K1. I'm not sure about your class of visa.
