Hi I got a pink slip today requesting I-693.  Said I wasn’t to mail it but bring it with me if I received an interview date.  Anyone else got this.

Yes. This is nothing to worry about, you always get this slip if you don't submit your medical documentation along with your application. You just need to get the medical examination done by a US civil surgeon before you have your interview and bring the letter they give you (unopened) to the interview.

Hello,

Today I received an email saying it was scheduled a biometrics appointment for my employment authorisation card.

Will the biometrics be used for my travel document as well?

I sent the form I-131 almost three months ago and I haven't received the same email for this application yet.

That’s nice! Congratulations! Yes, that is one card, EAD on one side, on another AP (travel document)

Thanks!

I was really hoping we'd get the EAD/AP combo accepted without going through an interview due to the pandemic (also my biometrics were taken at my K1 interview + POE).

Most likely the interview will be taken place by the end of August though.

After interview how long does it take to get the combo card shipped to us?

EAD and AP usually accept without interview, just biometric. Make sure to know they will take photo and this will be most likely in your EAD and possibly on green card. About timeline, I know that my friend from California had biometric in February and was approved EAD in June and also got her SSN even before EAD. After approval  (it says on the site that card was issued) it takes about 1 week to get that my mail. One other thing, I read article  that says that they issuing card now slower cause they don’t have enough financings to print them and have limit to issue 10 000 documents a day. So that can take longer...

Once it's approved it looks like people are getting the card in their hand (as long as they've done biometrics) 4-6 weeks later. You can look at others' EAD timelines here.

Hey,

I called USCIS to see when my biometrics appointment was schedule cause I've got a trip for the next two weeks.

It turned out that my appointment will take place on August 11th at Brooklyn Office.

I will return from my trip two days earlier in order to go to the appointment.

I'm exited! Hopefully we expect to receive the EAD/AP combo card before my birthday in October \O/

Hello, Sorry to hijack may form, I am a July filer. Can we see on the USCIS website if a biometric appointment has been scheduled before getting the letter in the mail? Did we get an email/text when the letter is shipped? I have seen a few stories where they do not receive the letter in the mail on time. Thank you all!
