Thank you! We have sent G- 1145 but "Pigrew" mentioned other way to get alerts. See the comment above. We never received email tho, only SMS

On the Case Status Online website you can create an account, enter all your cases, and then check the box for SMS notifications. Not sure if it actually works, but might be worth a try.

It actually works. I received an email and SMS yesterday informing about my case status upgrade.

I’ve seen in other topic that some lady contacted USCIS representative and he talked her that now they are rescheduling people’s appointment that should be in March and they will have 2-3 waves about 2 weeks each. So, maybe people who filed April or May, June will be scheduled some point in August maybe September.

OK, so now I have another question. I have a social security number for my K-1, but no EAD yet. Our K-2 can't get a social security number until the EAD is approved. I extended my income tax filing deadline to October 15. What if I don't have a social security number for the K-2 by then? What if the K-1 does not have her EAD? I read somewhere that the social security number has to be clear for work, and that both must have valid social security numbers by the deadline of the extension. Should I file for an ITIN for the K-2, for the K-1? The ITIN (W7) form says not to file for an ITIN if you are eligible for an social security number. I'm so confused!

They were both here in the USA since July 2019 and we were married in September 2019, so I should be filing a married joint return with the K-2 as our dependent.

I applied for ITIN couple month before filing for green card, cause we filed joined tax return and I needed some number. I am still waiting for that. Anyway, I think, that you can apply for ITIN for your child.

Hello y'all,

Today I received a mail from USCIS stating they received my third-try form I-765 \O/

Curious thing: the receipt number starts with IOE which can't be track on USCIS Case Status website.

Have you guys ever seen this before?

We got our fingerprint appointment in the mail today! Appointment is August 3. I was shocked that we received it already. I guess it depends on where you live and other factors. The office we report to is Buena Park in Orange County, California. Our NOA was May 18 and we had an RFE that I returned right away to Missouri with the form that was needed. We are surprised and happy! We are hoping to be able to travel by year end!

Congratulations!!! Good news! So, you got your appointment notice from the Missouri office?
