Thank you!!

That i944 was truly more difficult than i485 itself, but after I carefully follow the instruction provided by helpful members of this forum, I finally made it! :)

That's all that matters!

It can definitely take multiple attempts. We had our 4th application accepted! First submission in Feb. was rejected due to incorrect payment (we were really hoping not to have to submit an I-944), and so was the 2nd submission in April. Our 3rd application was rejected because there was a missing I-944 (we sent one in and in magically appeared stapled back to some other papers when they returned it to us). Attempt #4 was successful! They received our application on 5/27/20 and credit charge from Chicago Lockbox showed up on 6/4/20!!! Patience and persistence=progress! We are so excited to have them finally accept our paperwork. 😁 It took about 11-21 days for them to date the notice from the time they received our application (we did not receive any email or text updates), and then another 6-7 days to receive the notice in the mail. We haven't received any notices as of yet for our May application (and no text or email updates even though we included the form), but the payment was enough to celebrate. Our AOS process is finally moving forward.

Oath ceremony completed (Detroit): 06/17/24

N-400 Interview completed 05/29/2024 (Detroit): N-400 approved; I-751 approved; received notice that Oath Ceremony scheduled for 06/17/2024 (Detroit)

NOA updated online 04/18/24 for N-400: Interview scheduled for 05/29/24

NOA received 03/04/24 confirming N-400 application and reuse of biometrics

Biometrics being reused for N-400: Notification online 02/28/024

N-400 Application Accepted: 02/15/2024; Notified by text 02/20/2024

I-751 Amendment Request of Jointly Filed I-751 to Waiver: Delivered 09/09/2023 with hard copy of docs; wasn't able to upload docs till 01/30/2024 due to glitch in their system

Notice Green Card Extended for 48 months: 03/11/2023

I-751 Petition To Remove Conditions on Residence (Jointly Filed)Application Accepted: 03/06/2023; Biometrics being reused

Conditional Green Card: granted 05/14/2021

Hi all, finally found this May AOS thread. Our concurrent I130 & I485 application was received by Chicago Lockbox on May 13 and we still haven't heard anything back. Does anyone else experience this? We called USCIS and was told to wait for 30 full days and lockbox hasn't replied either. We are getting anxious, your feedback is extremely appreciated!

I have received a SECOND rejection notice-- for the same reason: The payment amount is incorrect.

The first time I submitted the AOS package with a check to US Dept Of Homeland Security for 1225.

The second I submitted my credit card information, thinking perhaps they could not read my handwriting.

What am I missing here??

We are filing:

i-485

i-864

i-765

i-131

I don't think you can abbreviate on the check (says something like that on USCIS website). Don't know about credit card. You submitted the I-944 too right?

Yes, Sorry I neglected to list we included the i-944 as well.

Im at a loss as to what the rejection was for, because everything I see states 1225. This is so frustrating.

Thats frustrating, isnt it?!

The first time I submitted, I expected an NOA1 within a week...never came, but the rejected package came back to me after 4 weeks.

Same thing with second submission.

No texts or anything alerting that it was going to be a rejection.

Hi everybody. I'm a May 2020 filer for AOS-EAD-AP.

My new wife's I-485, I-765, and I-131 were sent to the USCIS in Chicago via FedEx on May 12th. They arrived the next morning (5-13) and were signed for by J. Harper. Its now been a little over three weeks and there has been no official word or acknowledgement of any kind. No receipt number or anything. Do I have reason to be concerned?

Hi we are the same here, same day arrived and was signed by the same person and still waiting. Definitely getting worried but let's keep our hopes up! It's still within the 30 day mark.

No need for K1s who got married during the 90 days timeframe to include the I-130
