Are you sure? I thought that before that your status case should be updated with "Fingerprints are taken" (or something of this kind)?

Yes you're right that status comes before but getting a biometrics appointment and the update that fingerprints are taken has nothing to do with somebody checking your case and getting it ready for the transfer to the local field office.

Yes I received it 1 week after my files were delivered.

During my K-1 visa process we received RFE around 4 month after filling form. So, I don’t think that if they will send RFE they will send this immediately. Also, one of my friend from California got biometric appointment around 1 month after sending. So, it can be.

For everybody filing, on your forms ; stuff that does not apply to you, are you writing "N/A' or just leaving the boxes blank.

I have written n/a EVERYWHERE, so I will not have empty boxes blanks. I heard somewhere that this is required.

So, I send today again third time my package. Fixed what they said, left order that they organized my documents. Reprint just all forms (actually maybe need to reprint only what was wrong). Got transcripts for 2019 from IRS site, and add explanation letter about credit report and screenshot of mistake from Creditkarma site.

I used Adobe fill and sign, didn’t had any issues. You can write by hand. I did 2 forms by hands. You can do all forms by hand if you want

Just curious what the time frame has been lately between the package being delivered to the lockbox and receiving either an RFE or an NOA1?

I noticed that between sending to NOA-1 this is around 1-2 weeks. People first if not rejected get text messages and then hard copies for a couple days

Form I765 is expiring on 05/31/2020...for those of us filing AOS in June must we wait for a new form?

I filed today with old form. I got to the site Ask Emma and it says that I can use old form

I thought fingerprints have to be taken before it can be transferred to the local field office? In my quick browsing in case tracker, I haven't seen any 485s in March/April that moved to "ready to schedule for an interview" without fingerprints taken.

Yes of course but biometrics will happen before anyone is seriously looking at your case to get it ready for transfer to the local field office.

For everybody filing, on your forms ; stuff that does not apply to you, are you writing "N/A' or just leaving the boxes blank.

The official directions say to write N/A or none.

However, I've never seen a report of anyone getting an RFE or being denied for leaving a truly not applicable field blank, and we left boxes blank that really didn't apply (meaning if you filled everything else correctly and were using Acrobat Reader, you couldn't type in them) on both the petition form and the AOS forms.
