So you sent in the form but without tax transcript? Did you provide evidence of why you do not have the transcript though? From my understanding the transcript is necessary

Correct, we were advised to send in the transcript. In the absence of the transcript we had to explain why it was not available and provide tax returns and any W2/1099 as applicable.

I sent H R Block form. Yes, if i would have transcripts i would add them. We add H R block for my visa interview, and everything was ok. We need to wait for tax return 9-11 weeks.

Great ; Because in my case I (the petitioner) have all my tax documents. My wife has copies of her tax return but not the actual transcript. Should I just send In what she has for the time being?

Can you wait and get the transcript? Transcripts become available online like 3 days after filing. Our lawyer strongly advised us to get the transcript. If for some reason the transcript is not available then you can go ahead and submit with returns and include the W2 and 1099 if applicable and also explain why you could not get the transcript.

Well the problem is that to create an account on the IRS website, we need to confirm her identity. Since she doesn't have credit or loans we can not confirm it and won't allow us to access any information.

You can start the June 2020 thread if you like, first ensure there is not already a June 2020 thread, as of this posting there was not. Just look at the first post of this thread and design your post similarly some even copy and paste, but ensure the information is still valid for June 2020. I did not make a June 2020 thread as I wanted to give others a chance to do it. Go for it @Ela S..

Hi,

I got a rejection letter today, saying my form was outdated and they cannot establish my priority date. I came here on a K-1 visa last November 2019 and got married last Feb 2020. We filed our AOS last May 2020, I know it's late since a lot has happened.

My I-485 is updated, altho, my form I-765 form was only valid until the 21st of May. Checked the USCIS website for the updated version, and it's still May 2020.

I am also confused about my priority date. I left it blank on I-485. Should I put the notice date on the I-797 approval notice?

Thank you for the help!

Check all forms on their website. I will send again with old I-765 form, i get to ask Emma, and it says that even that form date expired you still can use this. I had during my second rejection too that my forms are old, but it what was in the first rejection

Have you received NOA-1?

I see that a lot of case numbers before and after mine (submitted in early May) are receiving Request for Initial Evidence, but mine is still shown as "fingerprint fee is received". Does that mean mine passed an initial screening? Would they revisit the cases and send out more RIEs later?

Have you received NOA-1?

Yes absolutely. Just because cases around you are receiving RFIE it doesn't mean that somebody even touched your case yet. You'll know when you get the ready to be scheduled for Interview status

Are you sure? I thought that before that your status case should be updated with "Fingerprints are taken" (or something of this kind)?
