Family-based I-485 processing time has gone from 24 months to 32 months for Montgomery, Alabama.  Has anyone else seen similar increases at your field office?

San Jose, CA got a bit of a bum from 24 to 25. San Francisco, CA seem to have increased as well (can't remember previous number but I don't think it was 36 months). I didn't realize that they update the numbers at the middle of the month too (always checked on the first).

These moving targets are not encouraging.

Ours has not been changed in Boston, Massachusetts. Although, I haven't seen any progress in my case. But 24 to 32 for a less populated state like Alabama is absolutely a bummer. I hope you'll see a progress on your case soon.

Just got an update my husbands i485 has had an action on his case. We are Sacramento field office. I figure we can be stuck at this for who knows how long but atleast it’s an update we hadn’t had any update since case received back on may 4 2020.

his status is this-

Your case status: Testing and Interview

As of March 15, 2022, we are ready to schedule your Form I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR ADJUST STATUS, Receipt Number , for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

If your case status indicates that you are currently in this step, you have either been scheduled for an interview or are in line to be scheduled for an interview. The amount of time your application will remain in this step will vary by office and is largely determined by the number of cases ahead of yours. The interview notice will have specifics about time, location and anything you will need to bring to your interview. If your application remains pending beyond our normal processing times (as shown below) please contact our national customer service center

Hi. Did anyone had their interview yet in Sacramento, CA?

Ours just updated that we are ready to schedule in sacramento and our status is now changed to testing and interview so not sure if it’s just waiting to be scheduled or has been scheduled. But hopefully that means sac is finally moving!

Oh, weird! Hope we don't have to drive to Fresno, but most important is to just get it done! :)
