They told me yesterday it could take up to 6 weeks.. boy was I mad 😡.. but it took two days to remove my money 🙄🙄

I was also told the same. It could take six weeks for a supervisor to review. But the lady assured me that it should be sooner. I am planning on calling them again on Monday and ask to talk to a supervisor. Hate the fact that NVC is so inefficient.

Something similar happened to me. When did you submit?

After research we sent them exactly what they asked for! The top of our report said something like “National Police Certificate” and she was adamant that it should say “Federal Police Certificate”

Looking on the state.gov RECOMMENDED Australian site the example doc is exactly what we sent. I’m so mad now!!

edit: whoops I thought you said “what”, we submitted docs on May 18

Submit an inquiry and a screenshot of the error at nvc.state.gov/inquiry . That might be a faster route. I'm waiting on an inquiry I submitted friday night. The rep told me to do this. I hope mine gets fixed soon.

I tried going through AskNVC route but the link does not seem to work. I will try this one as well.

Lol, I'm trying to create a timeline that's the reason for my asking. I know the timeline on timeframes it's probably off.  Most likely. I resubmitted the 19th.

Make sure to include the screenshots and a description of what's going on.

Not a bad idea! I hope you hear soon!

I'm trying to get these docs in before USCIS opens and processes more cases!

Thank you! That's exactly what I thought about uploading before USCIS processes more cases. That's why I uploaded the same day o got the RFE on May 19th.

Just got the NVC welcome letter and I'm currently waiting for the fees to process so I can start the process. As I have been living overseas, I have to use a joint sponsor (my father). He is going to request his IRS tax trancripts and looks like they are sent online and then you can download them. For all forms he has to do as joint sponsor, will I need to have not only the electronic, but also the original copies? Simply, he will have to mail the originals overseas to me?

Hello- so I noticed that Other VJ members had a similar issue where the AOS bill and the IV Bill were paid on the same day and cleared their banks on the same day. However, the AOS payment is still showing as In Process. I followed the recommendations of emailing the NVC through the inquiry link with the proof of withdraw from my bank.

I am wondering if anyone who be able to shed some light on if it is best that we wait to submit the Civil Documents for the DS-260 until the issue is fixed for the AOS payment?

My guess is that co will make decision.  Did you get a DQ message?

So as it turns out, I called them and they want My co-sponsors three years of W2s for the taxes we submitted (2016-2018). He doesn't have 2016 for some reason but gave me 2017,2018 and 2019 to submit. Do you think its ok to submit these for the time being with a comment to say we will submit 2016 (or have it available for the consulate) once we can obtain it from his employer? I don't want to delay the process, but at the same time I do think 2017,2018,2019 should be enough.

For co sponsor do you mean Joint sponsor or household member? I'm not sure why they're asking for 3 years of W2s. Did you submit a transcript or a tax return and what years did you submit?

Yes sorry I mean joint sponsor (he filed jointly with his wife, so the IRS transcripts we submitted show both of their info), and they are asking for his three years of  W2s. The 2016 transcript does show the breakdown of the earnings between him and his wife, so the info is already there. Maybe I can just point to that as well and say the 2016 info of his earnings is on the IRS transcirpt we already submittted. I don't want to piss of anyone, but this is obvious!

If you definitely cant get the w2 for 2016 just go ahead and do what you just mentioned doing. Write a letter explaining why you cant get the w2 for that year. If you submitted taxes for 2016-2018 I dont think the 2019 w2s are necessary.

I've been seeing a lot of those FE reviews. It might have to do with assets if you're using any.

It just said that we have to submit everything before they review our case.
